# Proxy Public API Key Authentication

> Generate and manage Decodo Public API keys from the dashboard. Covers supported proxy products and available dashboard statistic endpoints.

You can get the API key by logging into your dashboard and going to the [**API keys**](https://dashboard.decodo.com/profile?tab=api-keys) section.

1. While [**logged in to the dashboard**](https://dashboard.decodo.com), click the **`Account and Settings`** icon at the top right.
2. Then, click `Settings`.
3. Finally, click on the **`API Keys`** tab to open it.
4. In the **API Keys** tab, enter a name for your API key and click on **Create** to see your API key.

  Once you close this window, you won't be able to see your whole API key again. Make sure to save it for later use.

<Warning>
  **Proxy Support**

  The Decodo Public API does not support **datacenter** and **ISP** product groups.

  **Mobile proxies** support *only* the `Get traffic` and `Get targets` dashboard statistic endpoints.
