# Change Payment Method

> Learn how to update the payment method for your subscription

You can update the payment method for an active self-service subscription at any time without cancelling or interrupting your service.

## Steps

1. Log in to your [**dashboard**](https://dashboard.decodo.com/).
2. Click the **Account and Settings** icon in the top right corner.
3. Click **My Subscriptions**.
4. Open the **Billing details** tab.
5. Under the relevant subscription, select **Update payment method** and enter your new details.

  Updating your payment method doesn't change your plan, traffic, or renewal date – it only changes how you're charged going forward.

## Wallet and Pay As You Go plans

If your subscription is billed through your [**Wallet**](/docs/wallet), including **Pay As You Go** plans, there's no separate payment method to update. Instead, top up your Wallet using any supported payment method. Future charges will be deducted from that balance.

## Wire transfer and Custom/Enterprise plans

Wire transfer isn't a self-service payment method. If you're on a **Custom/Enterprise** plan, contact your account manager to update your billing details.
