# Mismatched IP Location

> Proxy location mismateches can occur due to out of date databases

Our system uses the **MaxMind** database to determine proxy IP locations. You can verify the correct IP location directly on MaxMind [**here**](https://www.maxmind.com/en/geoip-demo) or on [**ip.decodo.com**](https://ip.decodo.com/).

  Using any other database to check the proxy IP location may lead to location mismatches, which are incorrect. Since we cannot guarantee the accuracy of information from unreliable databases, use them at your own discretion.
