# Restricted Targets

## Restricted website categories

All of our proxy types come with a default list of restricted websites that we apply to all our customers.

These restricted websites are:

* Banking and other financial activities (anything related to financial institutions and cryptocurrency financing)
* Government sites
* Entertainment (e.g., Netflix)
* Apple/Google stores
* Ticketing
* Gaming
* Mailing `*`
* Streaming `*`
* Business `*`
* Telecommunications

`*`These categories can be unblocked after ID verification with rotating [**Residential Proxy**](https://dashboard.decodo.com/residential-proxies/pricing) subscriptions.

### Unblocking process

If you have issues accessing a specific target, first check if it falls into one of the categories mentioned in the article above.

If the target doesn't belong in the categories marked with `*`, you can submit a request to unblock it. Otherwise, you can simply proceed with the ID verification to unblock the websites belonging to the `*` categories.

<Tip>
  To submit a request to unblock a target website, contact our customer support team at [**support@decodo.com**](mailto:support@decodo.com) or via LiveChat and provide the following information:

  * The website **URL** that you wish to unblock.
  * Describe the **use case** with that website – **be as specific as possible**.
  * Approximate the **traffic** (in GB) that will be consumed on the target website with the proxies.
  * Share any of your **company** information.

  In some cases, ID verification may be required to grant access to specific targets.

  Once a ticket is registered for your request, our compliance team will review it, and you'll receive an email confirming whether your access request has been approved or declined.
