# YouTube Metadata
> Web Scraping API YouTube Metadata Template
The `youtube_metadata` template is built to obtain YouTube video Metadata in JSON format.

## Input Parameters
Request parameters available for the YouTube Metadata template:
| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
| --------- | ------ | -------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `target` | string | ✅ | Target type must be set to `youtube_metadata`. |
| `query` | string | ✅ | An 11-character Youtube video ID that is indicated in video URL. |
Parsing is set to "true" by default for this source - it is required to successfully scrape the results.
