Restricted website categories

All of our proxy types come with a default list of restricted websites that we apply to all our customers.

These restricted websites are:
  • Banking and other financial activities (anything related to financial institutions and cryptocurrency financing)
  • Government sites
  • Entertainment (e.g., Netflix)
  • Apple/Google stores
  • Ticketing
  • Gaming
  • Mailing *
  • Streaming *
  • Business *
  • Telecommunications
*These categories can be unblocked after ID verification with rotating Residential Proxy subscriptions.

Unblocking process

If you have issues accessing a specific target, first check if it falls into one of the categories mentioned in the article above. If the target doesn’t belong in the categories marked with *, you can submit a request to unblock it. Otherwise, you can simply proceed with the ID verification to unblock the websites belonging to the * categories.
To submit a request to unblock a target website, contact our customer support team at support@decodo.com or via LiveChat and provide the following information:
  • The website URL that you wish to unblock.
  • Describe the use case with that website – be as specific as possible.
  • Approximate the traffic (in GB) that will be consumed on the target website with the proxies.
  • Share any of your company information.
In some cases, ID verification may be required to grant access to specific targets.Once a ticket is registered for your request, our compliance team will review it, and you’ll receive an email confirming whether your access request has been approved or declined.
