This short guide will teach you how to change the DNS addresses on your Android device.
1
Go to Settings > Network & internet > Internet.
2
Tap the gear icon next to your connected Wi-Fi network.
3
Tap Edit (pencil icon) or Modify network.
4
Tap Advanced options, then change IP settings from DHCP to Static.
5
Scroll down to find the DNS 1 and DNS 2 fields and enter your preferred DNS addresses.
We recommend using either Google or Cloudflare DNS addresses:
  • Google DNS: 8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4
  • Cloudflare DNS: 1.1.1.1 1.0.0.1
6
Tap Save, then disconnect and reconnect to the network for changes to take effect.
