This short guide will teach you how to change the DNS addresses on your Windows device.
1
Press on the Windows Start menu and navigate to the Control Panel.
2
In the Control panel, click on Network and Internet, then Network and Sharing Center.
3
Right-click on the Ethernet or Wi-Fi network you are connected to and select Properties.
4
In the pop-up window, search for Internet Protocol Version 4. Press to highlight it, then select Properties again.
5
In these properties, select the Use the following DNS server addresses option and input your preferred DNS addresses.
We recommend using either Google or Cloudflare DNS addresses:
  • Google DNS: 8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4
  • Cloudflare DNS: 1.1.1.1 1.0.0.1
6
Press OK to save the changes and restart your device for the changes to take effect immediately.
