Restricted website categories

All of our proxy types come with a default list of restricted websites that we apply to all our customers.

These restricted websites are:
  • Banking and other financial activities (anything related to financial institutions and cryptocurrency financing)
  • Government sites
  • Entertainment (e.g., Netflix)
  • Apple/Google stores
  • Ticketing
  • Gaming
  • Mailing *
  • Streaming *
  • Business *
  • Telecommunications
*These Categories can be unblocked after ID verification only with rotating Residential Proxy subscriptions.

Additional mobile proxy restrictions

In addition to the restrictions mentioned previously, mobile proxies have further limitations due to risk mitigation reasons. We categorize targets into accessible and restricted groups based on security considerations, which may include blocked sites beyond our standard blacklist. If you have issues accessing a specific target, first check if it falls into one of the categories mentioned in the article above. If not, you can submit a request to unblock it.

Unblocking process

To submit a request to unblock a target website, contact our customer support team at support@decodo.com or via LiveChat and provide the following information:
  • The website URL that you wish to unblock.
  • Describe the use case with that website – be as specific as possible.
  • Approximate the traffic (in GB) that will be consumed on the target website with the proxies.
  • Share any of your company information.
In some cases, ID verification may be required to grant access to specific targets.Once a ticket is registered for your request, our compliance team will review it, and you’ll receive an email confirming whether your access request has been approved or declined.
