Firefox Browser Proxy Setup Guide

Proxy Setup

  1. Open Firefox on a computer.
  2. Click the Settings☰ icon > Settings (or Preferences on macOS).

  1. Click the General tab.
  2. Scroll down to the Network Settings section and click Settings.

  1. Check the Manual proxy configuration box.
  2. Add endpoint (e.g.: gate.decodo.com) and port (e.g.: 7000) to HTTP Proxy field.
  3. Select the Also use this proxy for HTTPS checkbox.

  1. Click OK.
  2. To check if the proxy is working, look up the IP address on ip.decodo.com.

User:pass Authentication

If you do not have a whitelisted IP you will get asked for username and password for your proxy user when trying to open a website, in such case simply enter the credentials and click Sign in
